Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
I am a specialist in clinical infectious disease.
We are not fully aware that antibiotics almost support all of modern life. Because of the invention and widespread application of antibiotics, the average life expectancy of mankind has been prolonged by at least 10 years. Without the protection of antibiotics, humans will once again live in fear of infection. In order to cure and prevent infection, we must use antibiotics. The most basic and important principle is to use antibiotics according to the types of pathogenic bacteria present.
