Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
Antimicrobial resistance: We need all hands on deck to fight it. Antimicrobial resistance is a worldwide epidemic, and the only way we can make progress is to join together to collectively fight against it. That’s why I lead an organization comprised of young, vibrant microbiologists and public health scientists who work to educate the public about antimicrobial resistance, how it spreads, the importance of appropriate antimicrobial dosing, and steps we can all take to better prevent, diagnose and treat disease. I am a resistance fighter because AMR is a problem that requires all-hands-on-deck to fight. Because all of us need to be resistance fighters.
