Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
I am an expert in preventing and controlling the microbiological drug resistance.
For drug resistance, the key is to fully recognize that antibiotics are national strategic resources. As WHO put it, the speed of discovery and development of antimicrobial drugs is currently far behind the speed of spread of AMR. If the state does not act, there will be no effective antibiotics available in 2050.
From a hygienic standpoint, we call it One world, One health. One world means one medical science. One health means a process of being healthy together. A complete management chain should be established, including the environment, agriculture, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, food safety, disease control as well as clinical and community applications.
