Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
We are committed to sensitizing the entire team to the importance of implementing standards related to the prevention of infections. This includes proper hand hygiene, device-associated infections, surgical site infection, ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), appropriate use of antimicrobials, and proper patient location in case of patients contaminated with multi-resistant microorganisms such as KPC. We provide ongoing training to the entire team. Comprehensive training assures that everyone is involved in the fight against infections. All together, we can minimize the appearance and spread of resistant microorganisms. Because all of us need to be resistance fighters.
