Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
The Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS Service Organizations (EANNASO) works towards strengthening the communities’ voices in various national, regional and global platforms. I work in the TB field because I have seen the challenges to get TB patients to visit health centers to seek care, mainly due to stigma. My work also includes empowering communities, to provide information and make sure that we’re able to bring TB communities together to share experiences and learn from one another. Because all of us need to be resistance fighters.
