Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
Understanding AMR through research. As a research assistant at Lablads Scientific, I help research the mechanisms that are driving the growth of antimicrobial resistance and am working to identify where these mechanisms are found in the food chain. My work as a resistance fighter also includes developing tools to assess the impact that antibiotic use in animals is having on human health. Because all of us need to be resistance fighters.
