Combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
I am a doctor with more than 30 years of experience working in clinical microbiology. My hospital is one of biggest hospitals in Vietnam. As a member of the antibiotic resistance program in the Ministry of Health, I analyze the rates of antibiotic resistance. It was recognized that the rate of antibiotic resistance was increasing every the year, especially in gram-negative bacteria. To help slow this rate of resistance, I also provide technical support for the Ministry of Health. In my role and with my experience, I teach, mentor, and coach the doctors and technicians working in clinical microbiology. I help them to improve their knowledge and awareness to prevent antibiotic resistance. Because of all of need to be resistance fighters.
